Why NFT’s?

Straight up basking in the bewilderment.
— Fungi Queens

I had heard passing comments about the NFT community for about a year until I became eager to discover how I could be represented within the space. I didn't know the first thing about coding/programming, so I reached out to my long-time buddy who believes in my creative prowess! It's been an excellent way to combine our skillsets. I knew I could translate my pencil sketches into developed digital artwork, so after many moons of sketching and vectorizing my drawings, Fungi Queendom was born. I've recently had the chance to integrate my project into the NFT scene alongside a small team of knowledgeable tech friends through the official minting of Fungi Queendom.

This particularly intimate genesis collection was inspired by my interest in developing psychedelic concepts while shedding a light into the realms of female empowerment. I wanted to see how both of these ideas could cross over into the natural world. My experience with the healing powers of psychedelic mushrooms as well as their infinite health purposes are apparent within the series. I specialize in representing the female form in many of my illustrations. You can see that the Fungi Queens are reveling in the goodness that surrounds them (straight up basking in the bewilderment). Using a human form is an excellent way to tell a story about your experiences. Each persona is exhibiting a feeling of mysticism and whole-hearted connectedness that's manifested in her subtle facial features or body language. It was also important to me to incorporate a sense of inclusivity amongst the varying generative skin tones. Everyone should feel seen and represented, much-like mushrooms; who are making their way into the spotlight as their benefits become better understood and appreciated.
